And now, an actual hero

This cat gave blood! So that a kitten could survive! Fluffy is very pro blood donation and thinks everyone in the uk should go to http://www.blood.co.uk/ to find out how it's done.

Beware the Purr-muda triangle

Fluffy says that cats should steer clear of the mysterious Purrmuda triangle - an area in which cats go missing.

It's in Wales, so just avoid Wales.

Dog saves kittens

This dog saved the life of some kittens so it can't be all bad...

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/howaboutthat/3265234/Hero-dog-risked-life-to-save-kittens-from-house-fire.html

Fluffy is relatively impressed, but does take note of the fact that the dog had not fitted any working smoke alarms in his house. All houses with kittens in should have a smoke alarm, so perhaps this dog is not such a hero after all....

Another genetic advance for cat-kind

Fluffy is very pleased that scientists have developed a glow in the dark cat.

His name is Mr Green Genes

just when you thought it was safe to go into the water....

...Sharks had better watch out - these tigers are learning to swim. Fluffy approves - they will work well with the Chinese Winged Cats...

Save a cat, get the girl..

...Fluffy has noticed that science proves that if you are a man who saves a cat, women will find you more attractive.

Fluffy is a bit young for that sort of thing, but he generally approves of the idea in theory.

Fat cats

there is a lot of discrimination in the news at the moment about fat cats

Fluffy thinks it's time to start calming down and blaming dogs for things

Courtroom cat - not a Witch

Fluffy wishes to re-iterate. If a cat jumps on your lap, it is not a witch - it just wants a comfy place to sit.

Only 3 days until National Feral Cat Day

Thursday is National Feral Cat Day. Fluffy has been opening the little flaps on his National Feral Cat Day Advent Calendar (so far all the pictures are of feral cats but Fluffy thinks there may be a treat behind the last flap)

Fluffy would advise everyone to go out of their way to pat a feral cat this week*

*with really big gloves on though

Wednesday 8 October 2008

don't get a pet other than a cat

scientists think that most little pets are dangerous. Fluffy thinks there's a simple rule - don't make a food animal a pet animal. Chicks and hamsters are for eatin' not pettin'
